Adding Indicators to a Chart
There are three ways that an indicator can be manually added to a chart - either by clicking its toolbar icon if it appears on the toolbar, by adding the indicator to your favorite indicators, or by selecting the corresponding indicator menu item from the Indicators menu.
When you add an indicator, if the indicator is not drawn on the bar chart, it will be put in its own window at the bottom of the chart. You can move the indicator window if you desire. Note that when an indicator appears in a chart window, its menu item has a check by it.
Indicators are organized as described in the Indicators Overview section.
It is worth your time to quickly browse through the indicators so you’ll become comfortable as to how they’re grouped. The designs on the toolbar icons can also help you determine which group the indicator belongs to.
