mov(Num Bars, Type, Of What, Num Bars Ago) Type = s (Simple), w (Weighted), e (Exponential)

The Designer Moving Average function will return the moving average value of the Of What parameter for a particular bar. If you are using Designer Dialog boxes, when you type in “mov”, a dialog box will appear asking you to enter the number of bars and the number of bars ago value that you want to use. You will then have to select whether you want the moving average to be a simple, weighted, or exponential moving average.

If you are not using the Designer Dialog boxes, you would type in these values in the Indicator Editor.
