Adding / Deleting a Relative Strength Directory

Before reading this section, make sure that you understand the reasons for multiple relative strength directories.

Select RS Database Manager from the Special Menu and Directories from the RS Database Manager menu. The Add / Delete RS Directories dialog box appears.

To add a directory:

1. Click on the Add Directory button to bring up the change RS Directory dialog box. The current RS directory is shown towards the top of the dialog box.

2. To specify a different directory, first make sure the correct hard drive is selected. If not, click on the proper hard drive in the Drives: box on the left and click the Change Drive Button. (You can also double-click on the desired drive.)

3. Next make sure the proper directory is selected by changing into it. Again, the current RS directory is shown towards the top of the dialog box. You can change into different directories by clicking on the directory you wish to change into and then clicking the Change Directory button. (You can also double-click on the directory.)

4. Once you’ve changed into the directory you wish, click OK to return to the Change RS Defaults dialog box.

Note: The directory “..” refers to the directory directly above the current directory.

To delete a directory:

1. Highlight the directory that you wish to delete. Click the Delete Directory button.

Note: You cannot delete a directory that has databases that are used by your RS Database Manager. You must first delete the databases from your RS Database Manager that reside in the directory that you want to delete.
