While Investigator comes with a healthy supply of both unique and industry standard indicators, advanced traders will want to create their own indicators. Rather than having to memorize complex formulas, Investigator allows you to create and test your own indicators in the same easy way you create your own trading systems - with the use of helpful dialog boxes.

Please note that unlike other programs where you have to create and test your indicators by writing formulas, in Investigator, you only have to create your indicators. The testing dialog boxes for Designer indicators are the same type of testing dialog boxes that are used by the indicators included in Investigator. Since they are familiar, you won’t have to waste time learning how to write your testing conditions.

After selecting Designer from the Indicator menu and Create from the Designer menu, designer indicator creation progresses in the following order:

Number of Bars and Indicator Color Dialog Box

Bar Chart or Separate Window Dialog Box

Number of Lines for Graph Window (optional)

Line Values for Graph Window (optional)
