Group Relative Strength

Please make sure that you have read and understood the Relative Strength section before reading this section.

Group Relative Strength is calculated by going through each of your groups to find the percent change of the group. This is calculated by going to each symbol in a group, finding out the percent change for the requested date for each symbol, adding all of the percent changes together, and then dividing this total by the number of symbols in the group. Please note that if a group contains less than ten symbols, it will not be included. Also note that if there are less than ten groups, the group relative Strength calculation cannot take place. Once the percent change for each group is calculated, all of the group values are sorted similarly to a standard Relative Strength calculation.
