The systems menu item consists of three main areas: system library testing, historical testing, and bar pattern creation.
System library testing will look for the entry conditions for all of the systems in your system library over your end of day quotes and will then look for all of the stop and exit conditions for the systems that are associated with the trades that are on your trades list.
Historical testing is used to test systems over your past data and will give you statistical results, as well as allow you to view the trades that were found during testing. You can then decide whether you wish to add this system to your system library.
Bar pattern creation allows you to graphically create bar patterns, such as Candlestick patterns. You can then optionally combine these bar patterns with other indicators for historical or system library testing.
Note: You typically first historically test a system to see if it is valuable, and if so, you then add it to your system library for testing. If you are unclear about the difference between a historical test and a system library test, see the Investigator Success Formula section.
