Re-testing The Recent Test System

Re-testing a system is extremely useful if you’ve just tested a system and you want to make minor modifications to the system. Most investors don’t come up with the perfect system the first time they test the system. After testing a system, you can view the historical results by using TradeWindow or by viewing the Historical Test Log. You can then use the historical test log to pick out the worst trades and then try to eliminate these trades by changing some of the system’s indicators and then re-test the system with the changes. Instead of having to enter the entire system again for historical testing, you can select Re-test A System from the Systems menu and Recent Test System from the Re-test A System submenu. Retesting a system progresses in the following order:
