Using Help

If you are new to Investigator, we strongly recommend that you start by using the menu on the left. Start from the top and work your way down. Each menu item is divided into individual topics that should be read in order. Once you become familiar with Investigator, please use the Alphabetical Search above to find the individual topics that interest you.

Note: Some web browsers will not run scripts (and ActiveX controls) unless you allow them. Scripts are small amounts of code that can do small programming tasks. On the Investigator web site, a small JavaScript program allows you to do an Alphabetical Search for topics in the Help section (using the drop down list above). When prompted, if you do not allow scripts, you will not be able to search for topics.
