Information on a particular bar is displayed in the upper left hand corner of a chart window. This information includes the date of the bar, the open of the bar if there is open information, and the high, low, and close information for the bar. The letter after the date indicates whether the chart is showing (D)aily, (W)eekly, or (M)onthly bars. The defaults color for the bar on which the information is being displayed is red.

To get information on a different bar, click on a different bar with the left mouse button, making sure you don’t drag the mouse. (If you drag the mouse, you will zoom in on the data.) The information for the currently highlighted bar will be displayed.

You can also use the left and right arrow keys to highlight different bars.
