Zooming In On Charts

In many cases you will want to take a closer look at a few of the bars displayed on the screen. There are two ways that you can zoom in on a chart.

The first way is to select Zoom In from the View menu. This option will decrease the number of bars on the chart by fifty percent.

The second option involves taking a closer look at a few of the bars displayed on the chart. In other words, you want to zoom in on a specific section of a chart. To do this:

  • Position the mouse cursor to the left of the bars that you wish to view more closely.
  • Click and hold the left mouse button.
  • Drag the mouse over the area that you want to zoom in on.
  • Release the left mouse button.

The chart will now show just the bars that you have selected. If you want to go back to the view you previously had after you’ve investigated the bars you’ve zoomed in on, you can always undo the zoom by using the Undo option.

Note: You cannot zoom in on more than three bars on the screen.
