Viewing Files with Bad Data

You can view the files that Investigator found during a Find Files with Bad Data menu selection by selecting Bad Data from the Special menu and View Files with Bad Data from the Bad Data Menu. If no bad data files were found, a congratulatory dialog box appears; otherwise, the View Bad Data Files dialog box appears.

The View Bad Data Files dialog box lists the files with bad data. To view the errors in a particular file, either double-click on the file name, or single click on the file name and click the OK button. If the file is not corrupt and has more than ten days worth of data in it, the View Bad Dates In A File dialog box will appear; otherwise, you will get a dialog box stating that the file has insufficient data.

The View Bad Dates In A File dialog box lists the file name you are currently checking and the dates and conditions of the bad data Investigator found. Click OK to close this dialog box and return to the View Bad Data Files dialog box. You can continue selecting and viewing bad data files, or you can click the Cancel button to exit.
